LA born, Huntington Beach bred
started playing piano around age 9, guitar at 11, about the same time I discovered Dylan & the Beatles
my teenage years were straight out of a John Hughes film
age 18, drove up the west coast to Seattle, made my home there for a few months
back in OC, worked in a record store while studying journalism. Terrible car accident, laid up for weeks
after the worst breakup I ever suffered, took the train across country for the hell of it. Landed in Georgia. Looked for REM
back in Huntington Beach, founded Burnt Toast zine, solo singer-songwriter gigs, along with bass in alt-country band Cowboy Buddha
studied abroad in Cambridge, England. Moved to Cork City, Ireland afterwards. Busked for dinner money. Too broke & scared to make it work, returned to LA a couple months later
moved back to London, England (for a fella)
a year later, back in LA
collaborated with bluegrass band
moved to Virginia following year, enrolled at George Mason University as cultural anthropology major. Made the Dean's List. Suffered medical issues, had to leave senior year.
2008, took up mosaics & photography. Writing/recording songs, playing gigs. Started publishing my poetry.
return to SoCal. Moved to the mountains, lived in rustic cabin by myself for a year
moved to Henderson on the outskirts of Vegas to thaw out. Helped run vintage guitar shop, fell in love with desert rocks and sunsets
2016 moved back to LA. Started working with stained glass. On musical hiatus. Still writing poetry. Attempting to publish short stories. Taking lots of scenic photos and cranking out the mosaics
